Screen Process Ventilation
Removing ink from the screen within a self-contained and ventilated booth helps reduce the fumes in the workplace. Recirculation of the screen-wash prevents the illegal discharge of petroleum distillates into the public sewer system, and with replenishment can substantially reduce solvent usage.
Exposure to stencil-stripping chemicals in water mist generated by high pressure water jetting also must be controlled.
Galvanised Steel Polypropylene Booth Troughs are available in Galvanised Steel and Stainless Steel for ink removal procedures employing a Recirculator Pump and Tank.

Polypropylene Units are available - with and without back illumination -for stencil development or stencil stripping with a high pressure water jet.

Unit dimensions refer to the inner size - the space available from the top of the duckboard and the aperture across.
Metal units are provided with an upper plenum chamber and duct connexion; a baffle built in at the back creates an extraction slot along the full length of the unit to to clear the trough of fumes. Polypropylene units have an upper plenum with slots at the front and back to control water mist and used in conjunction with clear plastic strips forming a screen over the front aperture.
