Archaeological Sample Flotation & Separation
Wet Bench Sinks for Geographic/Geological Sample Washup

Upwards Water Flow To separate lighter items, paricularly charcoal, from soil samples, by passing water under varying pressure through the soil sample supported on a grid and held by a mesh; the soil sample is eventually washed leaving gravel etc., which is subsequently sorted for artefacts, bone etc.
This picture illustrates the even upwards flow from the manifold below
Cascade to Sieve Lighter material is passed over the wier in suspension and caught on the second sieve; meshes for retaining the washed soil are changed after each operation and are easily available
Heavy Duty Wet Bench Wet Bench and Sink Units built in Polypropylene - this material is robust and resiliant and lends itself to fabrication of customised sink and worktop configurations. We also supply "Simmons" epoxy sinks/drainers/worktops
